Studying at Cambridge

History and Theory

This group consists of both individual scholars and funded research teams engaged in the history and philosophy of architecture over a wide range of interests and periods.

Broad concerns include: an understanding of the integrity and diversity of architectural and urban order in their history, the relationship between the study of architecture and architectural practice, and the role of architecture in the wider culture.
