Research Summary

My PhD work involves an investigation of the impacts of architectural design and buildings' user choices on indoor thermal comfort for free-running office buildings, in Kenya's tropical climate. The research explores the applications of uncertainty and sensitivity analysis techniques to improve guidance on design decision making in a changing climate, to ensure future proofed built environments against runaway climate change.

My Research interests include:

-Mitigating and Adapting Built Environments for Climate Change in The Tropics

-Indoor overheating risk and Climate Change

-Building Performance simulation

-Indoor thermal comfort

-Uncertainty and Sensitivity analysis
